Hamilton’s North East suburbs were one of the top housing hot spots for 2016 with average prices reaching $812,000. The North East is characterised by mostly newer and larger homes and has benefited by the opening of a new High School.
Swarbrick (between Dinsdale and Frankton) recorded 199 sales for the year with an average of $357k. The lower price point in this suburb could be due to a large number of smaller 2 bedroom units being built over the past several years.
Glenview, typically 1970’s era homes, was also in the top 5 selling areas with an average of $469,000.
Yeoman Homes have soon-to-be-built homes available in Hamilton (including the North East) from $629,000. Call us on 07 8340015 or email sales@yeoman.co.nz to find out what we have that suits you.
